Terms of Service

Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using EsyBot ("the Service", "the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you are accepting these Terms on behalf of a company or other legal entity, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Service.

The service

EsyBot is a process automation platform that enables businesses to:

  • Monitor Google Drive and OneDrive folders for new files
  • Automatically trigger UiPath bots when files are detected
  • Manage credentials, audit logs, and billing through a web dashboard

EsyBot reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Service at any time with reasonable notice. We will not be liable to you or any third party for any modification or discontinuation.

Accounts & access

To use EsyBot, you must create an account. You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials
  • All activity that occurs under your account
  • Promptly notifying us of any unauthorized use at security@esybot.com

Accounts must be registered with a valid email address. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that provide false information, or that we believe are being used fraudulently.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use EsyBot to:

  • Violate any applicable law or regulation
  • Infringe the intellectual property rights of others
  • Transmit malware, viruses, or malicious code
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts
  • Use the platform to process data you don't have the right to process
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the platform
  • Resell or sublicense access to the Service without written permission

We reserve the right to suspend accounts violating these rules, without prior notice and without refund.

Billing & payments

EsyBot is offered on a subscription basis. Pricing is described at esybot.com/pricing.

  • Billing cycle: Monthly, on the day specified in your plan configuration
  • Overages: If your bot runs exceed your plan's included runs, overage charges apply at the rate specified in your plan
  • Payment: Invoices are issued monthly. Non-payment within 15 days may result in service suspension
  • Refunds: We do not offer refunds for partial months. Exceptions may be granted at our sole discretion for documented service outages exceeding 24 hours
  • Price changes: We'll notify you 30 days in advance before changing your plan pricing

Intellectual property

EsyBot and all related software, design, documentation, and branding are the exclusive property of EsyBot and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Your content: You retain ownership of all data, files, and configurations you provide to EsyBot. By using the Service, you grant EsyBot a limited license to process that content solely for the purpose of delivering the Service.

You may not use EsyBot's name, logo, or branding without written permission.

Your data

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

You are responsible for ensuring that any data you submit to EsyBot (including personal data of your own customers) complies with applicable data protection laws, including Costa Rica's Law 8968 on Protection of Persons Against Treatment of Personal Data.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law:

  • EsyBot provides the Service "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied
  • EsyBot is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of (or inability to use) the Service
  • Our total liability for any claim arising from your use of the Service is limited to the amount you paid EsyBot in the 3 months preceding the claim

Some jurisdictions do not allow limitations on certain warranties. In those cases, the above limitations may not fully apply to you.

Termination

By you: You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us at hello@esybot.com. Your subscription will remain active through the end of the current billing period.

By EsyBot: We may terminate or suspend your account immediately if you violate these Terms, fail to pay, or if we discontinue the Service. We'll give 30 days notice for discontinuation unless legally required otherwise.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases. We may delete your data after a 90-day retention period post-termination.

Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Costa Rica, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

Any disputes arising from these Terms shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If that fails, disputes shall be submitted to the courts of San José, Costa Rica, which shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
